These are some of the materials that we use for a typical
fence. We use good materials because we want your fence to
last.
Braces - We prefer to use 2 3/8" metal pipe for our braces.
We use 7 ft x 7 ft H-braces with two horizontal support bars.
Two braces make a corner. We purchase these with caps.
Concreted in. You can also request wooden braces.
T-posts - 6 ft, unless landscape or customer requires taller.
Barbed Wire - 4 point, 12.5 ga,
Oklahoma Steel or
Red Brand, or 15.5 gauge,
Bekaert Gaucho (Gaucho is class III
galvanized high tensile wire. This means it has roughly
three times the life of class I wire. The 15.5 gauge has
the same linear strength as low tensile 12.5 gauge, but
is lighter and actually costs less.)
Field Fence - Oklahoma Steel, Red Brand, or
Stay-Tite (Cost is dependent on
selection. Stay-Tite is more expensive, but worth it.)
We use Gaucho barbed wire and Stay-Tite woven wire on our own
property. We like the long life of class III galvanized high
tensile wire.
You may also supply your own materials.
